A Comment/Review on Scifiscribbler’s “Your Monthly Review”
Another Sunday, another story to read and comment. Today, I chose Scifiscribbler’s Your Monthly Review. Synopsis below:
Roddy’s boss is a little too wishy-washy to keep the company afloat. Roddy likes his job, knows hypnosis, and wants her to take charge. What to do?
Scifiscribbler has been around in the scene for quite some time now but his output has consisted mostly of male dominant stories so when I saw a new piece labeled as femdom, I was surprised and intrigued but reading the description above made me think: wait, is this really a female dominant piece or not? I had to read it to find out and the answer is… not quite, but sort of at the end. Allow me to explain.
The description above already gives you an idea of how things go. Brooke is the boss in question and she’s not very good at keeping her underlings motivated so sales have been suffering for it. Roddy, who has submissive tendencies by nature and experiences erotic dreams of having her in charge, decides to change the rules of the game by basically hypnotizing her over a Zoom call in order to become more assertive and dominant. The suggestions work and by the end of the tale, we see Brooke slowly beginning to take charge just like he hoped for.
I enjoyed the flow of the tale and how things progressed but I was always stuck thinking whether it was true femdom or not because it’s Roddy who does the hypnotizing, even if it to make her more dominant. While it’s obvious by the end her thoughts are now more aligned with the idea of being a dominant force who “will take no shit from her underlings”, I felt there wasn’t enough of that for this to be true hypnotic femdom. She doesn’t hypnotize anyone, after all, but is the one being manipulated, so yeah, tough call.
I would love to see more of this but with full femdom display, like having her realize Roddy did something to her mind to behave like this and then learn hypnosis by herself to slowly enslave everyone working under her. That would be quite something but it seems the tale is finished so…
Anyway, I liked it, but it’s not really a green story for me, more like yellow with shades of green. If you’re okay with the aforementioned caveat and want to have some fun, do check this one out as it’s quite good, nonetheless.
Thank you for reading.
