Afraid of Cats
Daniel was amazed. He was no longer afraid of cats. What had Jenna done to him?
He tried asking her, but no words came out. The mirror to the right reflected a proud furry hunter with golden eyes.
“Took you long enough to notice,” the young witch chuckled. “Do you want some catnip?”
Daniel meowed.
How this story came to be
Have you ever dreamed you were an animal? I have. Most of the times, I dream I’m a dog, but I vaguely remember one in which I was a dolphin. I’m not sure if I ever saw myself as a cat but it’s possible.
Anyway, this piece came to me because my cat is sleeping on my shoulder as I’m trying to type. He’s so cute! He’ll protest if I move too much, so I better be careful.
