“Alexandra?”
“Yes, General?”
“You’ve been away for months! What happened?”
“I got distracted traveling the world. Did you miss me?”
“Of course. When are you coming back?”
“I’m already here.”
The General dropped his phone when he saw her sitting behind his desk.
“Bye,” she snapped her fingers.
He stared vacantly at the empty office.
How this story came to be
Yes, she’s back. Alexandra is a regular of this challenge but it’s been months since I wrote anything with her. I guess I wasn’t in the mood for her particular brand of quirkiness. However, it’s not a good challenge year without some of her shenanigans, so…
