Yes, this piece took its inspiration from Greek mythology, namely the story of the Twelve Labors of Hercules. I’m sure you’ve heard of it in one way or another either through books, movies, or cartoons versions. Mine is just a simple variation on it all. The protagonist may be a demigod but even he is powerless against the charms of a hypnotic woman.
