A Piece of Her Pie
“Alexandra?”
“Yes, General?”
“I’m afraid your trip to Greece has been cancelled. The authorities there are still mad at what happened last time.”
“But I just went to the Prime Minister’s wedding!”
“Where you hypnotized him to believe he was a Spanakopita…”
“Not my fault he wanted a piece of my pie…”
The General sobbed.
Given that I recently uploaded a piece starring her on EMCSA, Alexandra Ryder – a.k.a Agent 47-D – continues to be on my mind and her brand of silly humor infected my meal. Allow me to explain.
Today, I had a Spanakopita for lunch. In case you’re not familiar with it, it’s a Greek spinach pie. The traditional filling comprises chopped spinach, feta cheese, onions or scallions, egg, and seasoning, although mine was egg-free. It’s quite delicious. I like Greek food a lot, not sure if I ever told you that or no, but it’s true.
As I was eating it, I thought to myself: “If Alexandra were here, what would happen? How would she be able to hypnotically defile (in a good way) such delicacy? I’ve never been to Greece myself (I hope to, some day) but surely a secret agent like her has already been there and, given how she tends to become persona non grata when things go south, well…
So yeah, if I were eating a Hungarian dish perhaps she would have traveled to Hungary, I guess. And now, it seems I’m getting hungry so I’m wrapping this post.
The Special Card
Joseph threw his cards on the table.
“I quit, you’re cheating!”
“Not true,” Megan defended herself. “The Siren hypnotizes everything and everyone. You know that.”
“There’s no such card in this game!”
“Oh? I guess the Siren is me then,” she giggled.
She waved her hand in front of his eyes and won another round.
I never played card games that much while I was growing up, let alone the fantasy ones. The only honorable exception happened more than twenty years ago when a girl I knew invited me to play a round of The X-Files Collectible Card Game. Yeah, that was a thing when the show was all the rage although it didn’t last very long. You can read all about it, here.
We only played one game (or was it two?). I honestly don’t remember. It was fun seeing the characters and references to episodes that were still fresh in my mind but I didn’t find the game itself particularly engaging.
I’ve played a few digital card games ever since then. The Witcher 3’s Gwent was cool, Hearthstone is okay but I got bored of it pretty quickly. I think the game i played the longest in the genre was Gems of War. I still go for a few rounds every now and then but the game play loop is pretty basic. I usually prefer looking at the artwork more than playing these sort of things anymore, truth be told.
Anyway, I wrote this one because I found myself thinking about such games, I suppose. I know I’ve written about CCGs before but this piece has a different flair to it because it deals with a non-existent card on a very real game. Hypnosis also makes fantasies feel real and pulling off a stunt like this one seems fairly easy to do. A change of perception, a slight of belief… either way, the hypnotist always wins, especially if the hypnotist happens to be a woman.
Discovery
When Tracy first discovered Femdom Hypnosis, she felt nothing but repulse.
When Tracy first listened to Femdom Hypnosis, she felt nothing but excitement.
When Tracy first practiced Femdom Hypnosis, she felt nothing but ecstasy.
Unwilling submission cast aside, she reveled in mind control.
Now Tracy is calling all her friends. They’ll soon discover bliss, too.
This was a spur of the moment thing. I don’t write many “origin stories”. Usually, my characters are already established in a way and their “origin” if ever revealed comes via flashbacks, memories, dialogue sequences and whatnot so I decided to write one in 55 words.
Why a piece about discovering Femdom Hypnosis? Well, I thought it was as good an ideas as any other and I could use the concept to present an evolution (or perhaps the right word to use is revolution) of thought. Alien things tend to scare us, even cause us repulse, but they can also grow on us if we allow them to, changing the way we think. Not all dominants start as dominants, they become so as time goes by.
Femdom Hypnosis made Tracy into a Hypnodomme and now others will learn from her (or become her pets). Either way, the ways of mind control win. I hope you enjoyed this little discovery and may you discover bliss aplenty.
Broken
“Shit!” Matthew vociferated.
“What’s wrong?” His sister, Alice, asked.
“I installed a new plugin, and it broke some links. What a pain!”
“Can I help?”
“Sure.”
She tampered with the code, a colorful spiral flashed on the screen.
“How’s that going to solve my link problem?”
“It won’t,” she grinned.
It broke his will though.
Broken links are a natural part of every site’s “life”. Whether it’s because we delete posts and/or pages and forget to redirect them or the content being linked to no longer exists, the truth is, every now and then, things get torn asunder and we either fix them or let our hard work fester. I don’t like the latter and I’m sure neither do you.
Today, I had to fix a couple broken links. One because it was connected to a Twitter account that no longer exists, other because the YouTube video had been delisted and another because I accidentally changed the permalink of an article while editing it. Not a big deal but it had to be done. It gave me an idea though and I ran with it.
I chose a creative way to “fix” everything at once and let’s face it, spirals are fun even I’m unable to stare at them for long periods of time like I mentioned before. I don’t know what Alice will do to him but it doesn’t matter as long as she is in charge.
