Typecasting
“Jess? What’s with the leather outfit, the ropes and the… hmmm… chlorof… ooooh…”
“Shhh, Clark.” She muttered. “All those years playing a hypnotic femme fatale on screen had to have consequences sooner or later. Don’t worry, reality will be far more exciting than your silly fantasies.”
His eyes rolled over as the real conditioning began.
Do you know the fear many actors have of basically playing only one role the whole of their careers? When a certain character incarnation becomes successful it’s easy for producers and director to look at that person and say: “you know you were so good at that role that here’s one exactly like it… have fun.” The problem with this approach is that actors love to be challenged, they want to try out new things to expand their skills and whatnot. Typecasting limits that, a lot.
Our minds are also guilty of that fact. Once we find ourselves loving a certain role, we judge all future ones based on that even if they’re nothing alike and it’s almost as if we have a predisposition not to like anything other than that. Weird, huh?
Okay then. Now imagine this: what if an actor who played nothing but serial killers his entire career one day wakes up and… ? Yeah, now think the same way about someone used to playing the dominant role all her life and you have the genesis for this one.
Non-Existent
“It’s not SMALL!” Frank shouted.
“You’re right,” Jessica yawned. “Non-existent is the correct word.”
“Don’t push it!”
“I’m not…” She snapped her fingers.
“Huh? Give me back my dick and balls!”
“Why? Chastity hypno-slaves don’t need them anyway.”
“I’m not a chastity hypno-slave.”
“Says the man who can’t see anything below his waist…” she thought.
Another random impromptu, one of several ideas I find myself juggling during my lunch break. Eventually, I had to pick up for today’s challenge entry and I guess this one was it because I mentioned in the past I do enjoy the idea behind hypnotic chastity.
The Cover
“What do you think of this cover?” Cammie asked.
“Too garish,” Brian replied.
“Really? And this one?”
“Too subdued,” he shrugged.
“Interesting. Last attempt then…”
“Oh… that’s just perfect!”
“It is?”
“Oh yes! You should definitely go with that one.”
“But it’s just a blank slate, dear.”
“So am I…” he muttered, trance sinking in.
I recently had the opportunity to work on the next installment on my femdom hypnosis and mind control micro-fiction series. I tinkered with a lot of images until I got the one I wanted. I really like the end result. My patrons already saw it today. You’ll get to see it soon enough.
Curiously, one of the things that came to mind at the time was to go with a completely blank cover but I don’t think the surprise would work and, besides, neither Amazon or Smashwords would accept that, I’m sure. Oh well, at least the idea can live in yet another piece of fiction.
Too Much Information
“Jim, you’ve been wearing blue for the last six months. What gives?” Andrew asked.
“Dunno. The last thing I remember was Chloe’s sweet voice and…”
“Fuck! She hypnotized you!”
“You think?”
“Yeah, and I’m pretty sure she got me, too.”
“Why do you say that?”
“Because I stopped wearing underwear right around the same time.”
One more impromptu. This was one of the ideas I mentioned juggling a few days ago. Suggestions are a funny thing, aren’t they? Especially if one doesn’t know they’re there.
