Bonus Story – I Dream of Abigail

Do you ever find yourself dreaming about the old days, thinking about who you were and the things you did, always trying to capture those memories and live through them again as if it were the first time? I do. If nostalgia is a drug, then I’ll forever be an addict, and I have no shame admitting it.
I dream every day. Some dreams are good, others not that great, and there are a few that don’t make any sense, but they all give me an adrenaline rush, that illusionary high that keeps me going back for more. Sometimes, my thoughts get jumbled and it’s hard to re-center myself, but when that happens, there’s something that remains constant, an anchor to keep me grounded.

She was many things to me over the years: a cute girl I saw at a supermarket on a Saturday morning, convinced it was a one-time deal; my upstairs neighbor who remembered that first glance as well as I did; a high school classmate who saw in me a friend when she was having a hard time connecting with people: my college sweetheart when we were old enough to understand the feelings swelling within our hearts…
There were many other facets, many noteworthy moments in the neverending theater of life, but there was one that changed it all and made me the person I am today. It was the day she became my Domme.
I remember it too well. It happened during our senior year. We were having a quiet evening in my dorm room, the kind of evening where the world outside seemed to pause, leaving only the two of us suspended in a pocket dimension no one else had access to. There was a faint trace of peppermint in the air from the tea she had brought over. I never liked peppermint, but she loved it so much that couldn’t spend a day without it.
Abigail sat cross-legged on my bed, her back straight, her hands resting on her lap. I was at my desk, pretending to focus on my notes but unable to shake the awareness of her presence.
She looked amazing. The soft glow of my lamp caressed her features, transforming her into an otherworldly vision. It was as if she were a dream spun from stardust, one that was impossible to grasp
