A Comment/Review on Ian Febland’s “Archives, Room D4”
Much like my most recent comment/review, This is the first piece I’m reading from this author. However, in this case, it’s due to the fact Ian Febland is a brand new author at the EMCSA and I have to say I pretty much enjoyed the Femdom Mind Control scenario he’s constructing with his piece Archives, Room D4 .
The synopsis reads like this:
A librarian experiences new realities after he meets an attractive younger donor.
Ona Boudreaux is her name and she just donated a collection to the library. The materials are intriguing but what’s even more intriguing is how she can easily manipulate Albert’s – the librarian – thoughts. The mind control aspects are somewhat vague – is it hypnosis, is it not? but they’re nicely woven into the fabric of the tale. There’s one sentence that I like a lot because it’s quite true. That sentence is:
That being said, the ordinary can be extraordinary, with a little change of perspective.
I particularly found the interaction of the two main characters to be quite enjoyable thus far. Now, I say “thus far” because this story is only just beginning, it seems. Two chapters have been added but there’s no real resolution to the plot just yet. By the end of the second chapter, an appointment has been made in order for Albert to try to grasp how she does the things she does and we’re left hanging with a tease of what’s to come, though I suspect it will be equally enjoyable.
I think Ian Febland is onto something very good with this one and I know I’ll be looking forward to further developments in this tale. Expect to see my observations evolve over time. Until then, go read his story and have some fun. Thank you for reading this post.
