A Comment/Review on Buster’s “Drop and Give Me Twenty”

When a person thinks he’s read it all, something comes along that catches one off-guard. This was certainly the case with Buster’s Femdom Hypnosis and Mind Control short story Drop and Give Me Twenty. Allow me to elaborate.

The synopsis of the tale goes as follows:

Madeleine tries to get her husband to calm down during an argument.

As far as hooks go, this isn’t that strong, really. An argument can be about anything really but at least it points out to some unfolding drama. Many people read EMCSA stories just for the wank fodder but I enjoy a bit of intrigue and I did get that right off the bat. Madeleine seems to be in a bit of a slump but why? Her husband has just returned from military service so things should be fine and dandy but they’re not. What gives?

There are a few lines that give the impression that maybe he’s suffering from some form of mental disorder from his time in the service but the allusions are brief and since the focus is on the wife they rapidly shift into an examination of guilt.

I certainly didn’t expect to see the subject handled in the way it did. It’s hard to talk about it without spoiling what happens but Madeleine’s needs and reactions strike me as surprisingly human. She wants something but knows that what she wants is “wrong” on some level so she rationalizes her actions in any way she can and one of them is to start a fight in order to get her way. Quite the little thought-provoking piece, a far cry from some of the more outlandish scenarios one finds at the EMCSA every week. I really enjoyed this different approach to a mind control situation and if you’re looking for an exploration that deviates from the norm, you should definitely check this one out.
