A Comment/Review on Me-chan’s “Fun With Sabrina & Jon” [Updated]
[This post was originally written on April 20th, 2018]
Me-chan’s works are always entertaining and this one is no exception. “Fun With Sabrina & Jon” isn’t actually a story per se but rather a moniker to house different snippets pertaining the lives of two characters, Sabrina the hypnotist/domme and her boyfriend/hypnoslave Jon. These two have a long history together already, one you can find here. The Hero & Witch series came first in terms of actual writing but The Kissing Spell is the chronological prequel to it all so you have plenty to have fun with already.
Anyway, returning to this collection at hand. Thus far, it comprises only two pieces. The longer I Got You, Babe and the flash fiction entry The Riddler Has a Sad Fate Ahead. I had the opportunity of reading both before they were unveiled to the public and actually witnessed in first-hand the genesis of the second title via a chatroom conversation. I enjoy them both, but prefer the first one. It’s more fleshed out and more entertaining overall especially given the musical connection. However, the real reason why this one stands out it’s because it’s a hypnotic rendition of Groundhog Day.
Yes, that’s right. Time repeats itself hypnotically on this one. Not going to share the details with you because that would be spoiling the fun, instead urging you to go discover it for yourselves. If you like time-warping scenarios, surely I did enough to whet your appetite for now. The second piece is also built on the idea of repetition, namely the titular sentence but it didn’t grab me as much, despite being a fine piece of writing as well. Your mileage may vary though. This is just my personal take.
Update – November 25th
Although I read It’s Fate to Osculate a while back, I forgot to make mention of it at the time. Inspired by International Kissing Day, this is yet another fun piece of hypnotic seduction and as someone who found himself quite captivated with the thought of using kisses to control someone when I first discovered the fetish, I really enjoyed the colorful dynamic at play here, even more this time around. Even though I’m a few months late to the party with this note, this piece is still very much worth your attention, trust me.
As for the most recent entry, Some Merely Grow Taller, it’s also great fun, especially the way memories are subtly twisted and a conversation with someone ends up being something else completely different. I had the opportunity of reading this one earlier this week before hitting the EMCSA and the Sabrina/Sal revelation is played to great effect. Another fine addition to this world of hypnotic shenanigans. High end of definitely enjoyed, as a friend of mine would say.
Me-chan has already confided me that he plans on adding more snippets to this as time goes by and, seeing I’m a fan of his works, I look forward to see what new adventures lie in waiting for everyone. Thank you for reading. Now go read “Fun With Sabrina & Jon”.

Thanks for the hearty review S.B., glad you like what I’ve written so far, and of course hope you like everything that is possibly to come in these snippets.
Must give you credit for that “Does it like to bury itself under fertile mounds?” line that you came up with (referencing a groundhog); a beautiful addition to the story.
You’re welcome and my thanks as well for that mention. Glad I was able to contribute to your inspiration in some way.
