A Comment/Review on Mindlevel Zero’s “Just a Regular Day”
Yesterday’s EMCSA update brought a few more green stories along so it’s time to dive into one I enjoyed. I’m talking about Mindlevel Zero’s Just a Regular Day
The synopsis of the tale goes as follows:
A day in the life of a deeply-brainwashed husband.
Simple stuff but “deeply-brainwashed” is enough to get my attention so… The author states early on that something like this happening to him for real would be quite enjoyable and it’s easy to understand why after reading it.
The story focuses on a couple that has mind control and kink deeply ingrained in their lives with triggers being awakened through the form of letters and symbols. Masturbation control is also one of the main aspects highlighted throughout this relatively short piece. While I’m not overtly fond of the word “drone”, both the method of control used as well as the consequences of it are tantalizing indeed. If D stands for Drone and B for Brainwashing, one wonders what other letters could mean in this particular universe.
The whole romantic angle underlining the whole deal is also quite enticing. If you’ve read my stuff in the past, you know I love my fictional evil bitches as much as anyone else but it felt good to read something that didn’t rely on that angle in order to work. The more sensitive part of me approves the playful nature of it all as it’s one built on the tenets of mutual pleasure and mutual trust. Kudos for the way everything wraps up as well. I didn’t expect that particular end but, in light of everything else, it makes perfect sense. No, I’m not going to spoil it for you because you should go read it to find out what I mean.
I’ll finish this one off by reiterating just how good it was to dive into this piece. It’s riveting all the way through, the text flows well and there’s not a single dull moment in it. Fans of romantic mind control should definitely have a go at it, preferably right now. Thank you for sharing, Mindlevel Zero and thank you all for reading this post.
Until next time.
