A Comment/Review on Jake Elwoods’ “School Foot Daze”
This piece was also added to EMCSA last week but I only read it, today. Jake Elwoods’ School Foot Daze has a synopsis that goes like this:
A college student is overwhelmed by the smell of Janet’s feet.
I already knew it was a foot fetish tale from the title alone but the description couldn’t make any clearer even if it tried. A little disclaimer before I proceed: foot fetish is not a thing of mine at least when it comes to bare feet, smelly socks and stuff like that. I like boots so if you count boot fetish (I still prefer the word ‘fascination’) as foot fetish, then I’m into it to some degree. If you consider them to be two separate things, then I’m not into it. Labels are a bit ridiculous when it comes to having fun, aren’t they?
Anyway, with that out of the way, there are boots in this story but there are also smelly feet. The premise of the tale is that Janet’s feet “stink” and their strong scent is what serves as method of mind control. As far as the overall plot goes, this is pretty much standard fare with a 1st person POV guiding us through the whole thing. Funnily enough, the main character is never named so in honor of the author, I’ll just call him “Jake” from now.
So… after hearing some rumors about Janet’s feet, “Jake” spends some time with her at the University’s “Artistic” Club and discovers they’re all true. The seduction is quick, he immediately becomes her thrall. It’s a quick read with no real surprises unless there’s more on the way. It ends with one of Janet’s friends complaining about the fact that she ensnared another one to which she replies she needs new boots so I suppose it could go either way, really. If you’re into this sort of scenario, I’m sure you’ll like this piece.
There’s a passage in it which I particularly enjoyed, namely this one:
Do you remember in those old cartoons, where the steam from a pie forms into a hand whose beckoning finger draws the character’s attention? This was like that, only in my case, the ‘hand’ grabbed me by the chin and slowly pulled me forward.
All in all, it’s an entertaining idea. While it doesn’t totally align with my primary preferences when it comes to the fetish worlds, it’s still a femdom piece and women rule. For that alone, I liked it. A little more backstory would have been nice, but perhaps the author decides to continue this piece later on and does just that. As stated before, it can go either way. Until then, this little commentary comes to an end.
Thank you for reading.
