A Comment/Review on Milo Minderbinder’s “The Negotiation”
Dear followers and readers, I already mentioned Milo to you before, even quite recently. He’s a friend of mine from the Inraptured community. He’s also a writer with a site and published works. Recently, he even suggested an idea that became the basis of one of my 55 words pieces, namely this one, and he inspired a few others in the past with his humorous remarks. I recently had the chance to read his latest Femdom Hypnosis and Mind Control short story “The Negotiation” and I would like to say a few things about it.
The first is that this is a whimsical little tale as characteristic of his works. Milo has a particular style that seems slightly detached and a bit ridiculous at times but in a good way, really. You see, his tales often don’t take themselves seriously, they’re fun romps for the sake of being fun romps and, as such, they’re easy to read, and they’re easy to laugh to. I actually became a part of the Inraptured community shortly after reading anther piece of his, namely this piece. and a character based on me appears in some of his tales.
The second is that a character based on Sapphire Rain is the other major player in this story and Sapphire Rain is a special person to me. If you read my poem A Woman Named Rain in the past, you already know why. If you didn’t, allow me to reiterate she’s the primary reason why Spell… B-O-U-N-D exists and I’ll always be forever grateful for it.
Anyway, the basic plot for this story involves a discussion regarding splitting royalties for an audiobook and what do you think happens when a hypnotic dominant woman enters a conversation with a submissive and easily suggestible man? Yeah, it’s easy where this is going, isn’t it? Given I’m already familiar with how Milo crafts his tales, there’s an element of predictability to the proceedings but it’s still a very fun read, and a short one too, clocking a little more than 1500 words
If you enjoy the type of humorous offerings I bring to the table on this site, you should definitely check out his works. Hell, you should read them for the fun of it even if you don’t like my stories. Given how short it is, it’s definitely a good place to start but just remember: whatever Princess Sapphire Rain wants, Princess Sapphire Rain gets in the end, and it’s true both in fiction as in reality. Thank you for reading.
