Community Requests XII – Shrinking Ray

A category created to highlight specific creations made at the request of others. Patrons of the site have priority, but you don’t have to be one to get featured here. Just send me your best ideas/suggestions and if I like them, I’ll do something with them. New posts on Wednesdays if there are valid suggestions I can work with.

Because this is free stuff and I don’t have time for everything, community requests are limited to:

• photo-stories/captions/manips (simple stuff. If you want a serial or a more complex animation, become a patron.)
• micro-fiction (give me a prompt and see what I do with it.)
• poetry.

For custom flash fiction pieces and short stories, become a patron at the respective tier to commission them, and then we’ll work something out.

Note: It’s been almost three months since the last time I posted one of these here and the reason is simple: despite the obvious disclaimer above of how this would work, some folks got too pushy and started wanting things far beyond the scope of this feature. Not only that, they were also quite rude about it when I said “no”. I love sharing my creations with others but I choose what I share for free and how I spend my energy creating these, and if you’re disrespectful, you get absolutely nothing. I’m not naming names but you know who you are and what you did. Don’t try to pull that stunt again for that means less content I’m willing to create and share without an added paywall.

With that out of the way, for the twelfth entry in this new 2021 feature, we have yet another new photo-story/caption. Nalak, a patron of mine, posted the picture below on my Discord server and I worked with it until I came up with this.
