Oliver was so tired tears ran down his eyes but as long as he stayed awake, he was safe.
“You’ll fall asleep eventually, mortal,” the evil fairy declared. “And then, I’ll walk inside your dreams and make you mine.”
“Over my dead body!”
He was in bed ten minutes later, smothered by her crimson wings.
How this story came to be
I’m quite tired. This was one of those days that early and kept going, and going… I’m almost done with it so I can get a good night’s sleep. A few minutes ago, I dozed off on my desk and started dreaming about fairies. I suppose it makes sense seeing one of the pieces of flash fiction of the week, also revolves around the elusive flying creatures, so…
