Starless Sky
The voices inside the shrine promised Lauren everything she desired, and all she had to do was close her eyes.
“Why?” she asked.
“So you can see…” they cooed, tendrils of light wrapping around her neck, waist, and legs.
Under a starless sky, she embraced both power and surrender. The new vessel would become Queen.
A lot of people I know love the idea of corruption associated with mind-control scenarios, turning someone that is inherently good into an agent of evil for instance, or transforming a regular human into a supernatural creature or deity. I’ve had my fun with some of these concepts in the past and today, I did it again. This was the first idea that came to mind.
In other news, feeling a bit under the weather today. I may have been the latest victim of a bug that’s been going on at work (no, not Covid). It’s nothing too serious for now but not really feeling 100%. It will pass, I’m sure.
Her Wishlist
Erin’s wishlist was getting out of hand with new things appearing every hour.
“I don’t know what to choose!” Greg exclaimed.
“Choose whatever speaks to your heart…” she smiled.
“Can I offer you my mind instead?”
“It’s already mine,” she waved her black-painted fingernails and added ten more items to her list.
His wallet cried.
Time to put aside the dark scenarios for a moment. While you certainly don’t need Christmas to give and receive gifts, such acts have become ingrained in the spirit of the season for a while now and wishlists are a good way to perpetuate it. Do I have one? Yes, but I keep it to myself as I’ve never been much to advertise things like that. However, I can still write about them, right?
This piece was a random impromptu that came to me precisely after thinking about the concept of wishlists. Erin’s will never be complete.
The World Inside His Mind
Diamond waterfalls fell over viridescent fields that stretched as far as the eye could see while a rainbow sun bathed cornucopias of words with everlasting warmth.
“What’s this?” Harold asked, bewildered.
“It’s the world inside your mind, and it’s glorious!” Jennifer replied. “Shall we explore it together?”
Enveloped by her hypnotic words, he sunk deeper.
The romantic side of me decided to play along in this challenge, it seems, and since imagination is something I explore a lot too in my writings, the two combined are like a match made in Heaven, or in this case, in Harold’s mind who’s lucky to have a sweet hypnotic woman by his side like this. And that’s it, really. No hidden meanings, no ulterior motives, just a piece of gentle hypnotic femdom to warm your heart on this cold night-
Not Fair
Paul finished scrubbing another tile and looked at Emma with puppy eyes.
“A break, please?” he asked.
“Why? Is the job done?”
“No, but…”
“But nothing! When you start a task, you finish it. I know you’re not tired, so get to it.”
“That’s not fair.”
“Do you prefer the brainwashing chair?”
Paul continued scrubbing.
I’m still under the weather and this week has been rough. Besides my own indisposition, my oldest dog is sick too and it looks bad. There’s a part of me that’s afraid she’s going away for good soon, and while I’ve been shielding my heart over the last couple of years thinking about it because of her heart condition, it still affects and I’d be lying if I said it didn’t. If anyone reads this and wants to save a prayer for my sweet girl, they’re all welcome.
Anyway, random impromptu, and all that jazz. Holding myself together is what I must do right now even if the only thing I feel like doing is crying.
