“Alexandra?”
“Yes. And you are?”
“Lieutenant Martha Ellis. General Hayes ordered me to drive you home.”
“Did he say anything else?”
“He told me to not look into your eyes so you don’t make me think I’m someone else.”
“Right…” the devious hypnotist smirked.
The General grabbed the wheel, still convinced he was a woman.

How this story came to be

Alexandra loves confusing her subjects and I love writing about hypnotic confusion even if I’m not a fan of it in real life. This was a late-night improvisation to get the challenge back on track after yesterday’s technical issues and since I had already posted an Alexandra piece, I wrote another just for the fun of it.
