Familiar Faces
Eric surveyed the room. There were too many familiar faces there, people who wouldn’t hesitate in revealing his dark secret.
“Fuck!” he exclaimed.
“Relax, they’re all here for the same thing,” Marcia smirked.
“What?”
“They all want to be mindless drones like you.”
“Perfect,” he said. Individuality was overrated. They would all forget it together.
How this story came to be
Just a random thing that came to me just now. No particular source of inspiration for it other than just imagining entering a large room and staring at dozens of people from my past and present looking at me disapprovingly for writing stuff like this. Weird start, I know, but that’s just how I roll.
