Anything for Pleasure
It was not the news Martha wanted.
“Permanent?” she gasped.
“Yes,” Dr. Summer replied.
“But wasn’t this treatment going well?”
“Your boyfriend is too resistant. There’s no other way.”
“How much then?”
“Two pills in the morning, afternoon, and night. and you have a slave for life.”
“Okay,” she sighed.”Anything for pleasure.”
He soundlessly agreed.
I didn’t have a good day today because much like Martha I received some news I didn’t want to hear. If you recall, my oldest dog was quite sick at the tail-end of the last year and even though she pulled through, the recovery wasn’t complete. She’s been diagnosed with chronic bronchitis and will be forced to take even more pills for the rest of her life to keep it controlled. Between the heart condition, arthritis, and now this, my baby girl is going through a lot and I feel it all in my soul. It hurts to constantly put drugs in her system but she can still be around a couple of more years with a good quality of life by doing it, so there’s simply no other choice. Anything for her.
Anyhow, the similarities between this fact of life and the fictional story above are more than clear though I strived it to make it somewhat sexy. Whether I was able to do it or not, I’ll leave it up to you. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to give her the pills for the night.
Mistress of Beasts
It was too late for Timothy. Falling to the ground, he begged,
“Run!”
“But Tim…” Harriet said.
“Run and don’t look back! She’s already in my mind. RUN!”
Harriet dashed across the forest, the blood-red full moon hanging above her head. Inhuman growls cut the air all around. The Mistress of Beasts was hunting again.
In the mood for something with a more horrific vibe today and this was the first thing that came to mind. I don’t know about you but I always thought that turning into a werewolf or any other type of beast was always scarier than a vampire attack for instance. Now imagine someone with the power to turn anyone at will and then hunt you down. Pretty scary, huh? Yeah, I think so too.
Hypnotic Accident
Walter found Aaron waiting for him outside the hospital, a bloody bandage on his forehead.
“Are you okay, mate?” he asked.
“Yeah. It looks worse than what really is.”
“What happened?”
“Hypnotic accident.”
“Huh?”
“I was entranced when Jade tried her new fucking machine on me.”
“And…?”
“I forgot where my ass was.”
Walter chuckled.
So… the part about the bandage on the head is true. I had an accident for real today as I was leaving work and had to go to the hospital, which is why this piece is being posted so late today.
No, it wasn’t anything related to hypnosis. I tripped on a raised piece of sidewalk and hit my head sideways on the ground. I was lucky to do so in a way that didn’t break my glasses but now I have this bump that’s going to take a while to go away. It hurts a bit and my thoughts are a bit fuzzy at the moment but no real concussion.
This silly little thing came to me as I waited my turn to be checked out. I think it’s funny but your mileage may vary.
Played
“It’s finally here!” Sam exclaimed as he unwrapped his early birthday gift. The new Black Queen game was all he wanted… if he could make it past the cover.
Gorgeous violet eyes emerged from the black background, immediately dictating his fate. He would not play but be played instead.
Cock in hand, he began stroking.
I’m offering myself a gift tomorrow in the form of Elden Ring. No, it’s not because of all the perfect scores it’s been getting. I was going to buy it anyway because I’ve come to appreciate FromSoftware’s adventures with time. I’ve beaten Demon’s Souls (not the PS5 version because I don’t have one of those), the three Dark Souls games, and 100% Bloodborne solo. I’m certainly not the best player around but I’m persistent enough. Elden Ring is sure to scratch my itch for something grandiose and challenging for the next couple of months.
This year is looking rather stacked in terms of things I would love to play. Horizon: Forbidden West came out last week but will be on hold at least until my birthday next June. September sees the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, another massive RPG for my collection (I really love both the original and the second installment), and I’m almost certain the new The Legend of Zelda adventure is coming out in November. I never miss one of those on day one, so… Compared to recent years, this may be the one where I play more stuff, even if only half an hour per day or so.
Anyway, because of all this game talk, I wrote a piece about one. I’m still waiting for the proper way to bring back The Black Queen into my story universe. It will happen eventually, I just don’t know when. I’ll let you know when I do.
In other news, I’m still hurt from yesterday’s fall, but I’m okay. The wound will take a while to fully heal though.
