Seeing as the original post is one of the most appreciated on the site, I decided to make a new one, featuring other games I’ve enjoyed to twist in image+text format over the years. Just like before, I’ll also share a few insights about the creation of each piece. There will be some spoilers regarding game plots and characters so if you don’t want to know them, stop reading now. Shall we continue? Great!

Definitive Bliss, the piece that headlines this post, is actually the most recent of the lot. It stars Melia Antiqua from the original Xenoblade Chronicles, one of my favorite RPGs of all time. And yes, I created it because the definitive edition came out a few days ago. I haven’t bought it yet because I don’t really have the time to go through an 80+ hours massive adventure again at the moment but I certainly appreciate its existence and I hope many new people get to enjoy it on this new Nintendo Switch incarnation.

The piece opens up with direct references to three major catchphrases from the game, the majority of which became memes since the original game’s release. Melia also mentions Hypnotise, which is actually one of her Arts, a.k.a. abilities (she can put enemies to sleep!) so my take is quite accurate, minus the femdom mind control elements, of course. However, seeing she has quite the fans out there, I’m sure many of them wouldn’t mind becoming her bitches, if she were real. The piece is below.

The next piece I want to highlight is Game On, a take on Bayonetta. I bought the original on the cheap many years ago unsure if I would enjoy it or not. I ended up loving it and watched in fascination the events that unfolded when its sequel was announced as a WiiU exclusive! Those were the days. Nowadays, the series can be enjoyed on a more successful system but many gamers still feel “betrayed” for the fact that the Umbran Witch is now a staple of Nintendo systems. Hell, the truth is Bayonetta has never been more popular, also thanks to Super Smash Bros. This piece plays a bit with the dual concept of the game and also has fun with meme quote, popularized by the series creator, Hideki Kamyia, whose favorite pastime is blocking people on Twitter. Have fun!

The third piece, Pandora’s New Bitch, is inspired by the Borderlands series. I played 1 and 2 back in the day, never got around to the curiously titled Pre-Sequel, and skipped the third installment entirely because I don’t think my current tastes and what the game has to offer align anymore. Still, I had fun with what I experienced. They’re a curious blend of First Person Shooter and RPG with a cute, cartoonish style. Some of the jokes fall flat but I remember laughing at the absurdity of some of the scenarios presented. Mad Moxxi is one of the most famous NPCs in the series, partly because of her design so here’s my homage to her in my own, referential way. Would you play a DLC entitled like this? I think you would.

The penultimate piece of this set was only available to patrons of the site until today, and it’s entitled Hypnotic Peach and offers a unique explanation for why the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom is constantly being abducted. I’ve been a fan of the Mario series for ages, ever since I got my first console ever, the Nintendo 64, but I certainly wouldn’t mind playing with her, too.

I started this piece with Xenoblade Chronicles so what better way to finish it than talking about its sequel? I played Xenoblade Chronicles 2 when it released almost almost three years ago. I enjoyed it a lot, although not as much as the original. Still, it’s quite the adventure, too. Last month, I played the standalone expansion released for it, entitled Torna: The Golden Country, and that’s where the inspiration for Elysium came from.

It stars Mythra, a Blade, which are pretty much sentient weaponized life forms in this universe. She’s incredibly powerful, and also a terrible cook. The designs for this game  were quite criticized at the time for promoting too much, hmmm… titillation… so any piece I could come up with that resonated with it (if you played the game, you understand why I used that particular word just now), just had to deal with it. Besides, you can never get enough of hypnotic boobs, right?

Well, that’s it for now. Perhaps, there will be a third post on this subject somewhere down the line. Until then, keep on saving the world and don’t forget to be enslaved by hypnotic women any time they so… Happy gaming!
