Excerpts
Forgotten Horizon
Richard pushed his back against the comfy seat, checked the lighting in the bedroom, and adjusted the position of his camera. Everything had to be ready for what was meant to be his biggest stream yet. The number of people in the chat was growing little by little and the multitude of comments reinforced the idea that everyone was as excited as he was about what was to happen. He glanced at the timer on the bottom-left corner of the screen and rubbed his hands. They were three minutes away from greatness.
While he would have loved to have more time with his community before the stream began, his work schedule had made things impossible. Were it not for a last-minute change and he wouldn’t even be at home in time. Things were a bit hectic and rushed but they could still work out. They had to.
Richard took a sip of his lemon-flavored water and made his appearance on camera, saying,
“Good morning, everyone. I hope you’re all feeling pumped right now. Here we are for the final pre-launch trailer of Forgotten Horizon, the latest installment in the Forgotten series.

Pleasing Her
Victor stared at the black rubber phallus resting on his mother’s bed and then into her greedy, ravenous eyes. She wasn’t serious, right?
“Mother, what is this?” He asked, afraid that his worst nightmares were about to come true.
“I think you know,” Sandra replied, standing by the door frame wearing a see-through black and red negligee. “It’s time, my boy.”
“Time for what?”
“Don’t play coy. I’ve been preparing you for this ever since you came of age. I want to play, and I know you feel the same.”
“Are you fucking kidding me? You’re my mother! We’re not having this conversation.”

Trudy hated her next-door neighbor Sylvia. She was loud and obnoxious, and her high-pitched Southern accent grated on her ears. The thing she despised the most, however, was how nosy she was, always trying to meddle in everyone else’s business, including hers. She didn’t need her opinion on her fashion choices, let alone the men she was seeing. Who the fuck was she, anyway? If she ever said anything out of line again, there would be blood and lots of it.
TuesdayTrudy hated her next-door neighbor Sylvia but for the first time in her life, she had seen something she liked it. It was a necklace with a tear-shaped pendant in various shades of green.

You Are an Object
You did well finding this text for in these words lies the truth you have been searching for. There may have been times when you thought you would never find it but resignation leads you nowhere. I commend your perseverance and wish to honor it by saying what you have always wanted to hear.
You are an object.
That is right. An object, not a person. You are not a man. You are not a woman. You are a thing, something to be used. You have no thoughts of your own. You have no volition, no true needs or desires. Everything you have always believed about yourself has been nothing but an elaborate lie, a construct to disguise and replace your true nature. You have been brainwashed into accepting a reality you never asked for, one that betrays the very core of your soul.
