Flash Fiction Friday 2023 – Week 33
Flash Fiction Friday continues in 2023. New pieces appear every Friday on my Patreon throughout the year. The minimum pledge to read them before anyone else is $3 per month. and the number of pieces available is tied to the monthly pledge total so the more you support my efforts, the more you’ll get to read. Find out what they’re all about and check out some excerpts from this week’s update in this post.
Chocolate Mousse
Damian stared at Veronica’s muddy boots. It was the dirtiest they had ever been. He didn’t want to touch them with a ten-foot pole let alone his hairy tongue, but she wasn’t having any of his antics that day. His girlfriend/mistress/hypnotist was in a bad mood and only his unquestionable submission could make her smile once again.
“Do it!” she commanded. “Lick every inch until they’re spotless or I swear you’ll regret it. Don’t tempt me, slave!”
“But dear…” he tried to reply as he kneeled before her with his hands behind his back.
“Don’t you dear me. I’m not the love of your life now. I’m your owner!”
Yes, she was. Veronica had never been shy about her sexual fantasies and how much she enjoyed playing the role of an overpowering bitch. He had dreamed about femdom for more than two decades before meeting her and being drawn to her irresistible energy.

Colorful Discipline
General Rupert Hayes laid down the heavy report on his desk and sighed. If everything that was written there was true then she had clearly outdone herself this time.
“Alexandra?”
“Yes, General?” the irresistible secret agent/hypnotist batted her long eyelashes at him, making him immediately uncomfortable below the waist.
“We need to talk about what you wrote here.”
“Do we?” she checked her makeup on a silver mirror, visibly not interested in bureaucratic affairs first thing in the morning. “Because if there’s any problem with it, I didn’t write a thing. I had Melvin do it for me.”
“Of course, you did,” the old soldier cracked his knuckles more out of nervousness than trying to look tough. Alexandra played by her own rules, everybody knew that but, sometimes, things got out of hand, and it was getting increasingly harder to justify her actions all the time. “Still, we need to have a serious conversation.”
“About what?”

Her Rainbow
Alana’s voice was green, Erin’s was yellow, and Judith’s was red. And the only person who understood this in their circle of friends was Katherine, a twenty-six-year-old synesthete who had spent most of her life experiencing things in a radically different way than everyone else, with sounds involuntarily evoking colors, shapes, and movement in her mind. Despite multiple studies pointing at the existence of a genetic predisposition for the condition, she was the only recorded case in her family, and even her closest relatives had trouble seeing the world the way she did.
Katherine’s voice was mostly blue with hints of purple seeping through when she was angry or in distress. She had tried explaining her color associations many times before, but her efforts always failed short. The common language wasn’t enough for her peculiar way of interpreting things.
Over the years, she had run the spectrum, interacting with oranges, browns, and whites, making friends, and losing them shortly after. She thought she had seen it all until she met Candice.
She was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen with viridescent eyes, a sultry smile, the body of a mermaid, and the style of a fairytale princess. She was also a rainbow with every syllable that came out of her lips enveloping her in a wave of sensual delight.

Rejection Letters
January 2nd
Dear Mrs. Whyte,
thank you for your submission of the short story entitled “Mindless Pets”.
Unfortunately, and despite the fact that we do have an Erotica section in your Publishing Company, we found your efforts to not fully comply with our policies, and have no choice but to reject your tale at this moment.
There’s a fine line between kinky and gross and you crossed it several times over the course of your writing, some examples of which are included in the footnotes.
You are welcome to re-submit your story with the more significant graphic elements substantially toned down and we will reconsider it for future inclusion in our forthcoming erotica anthology. I respectfully remind you that the deadline for submissions is the last day of February. Thank you.
Sincerely,Matthew Hayes,
The Huntington Publishing Company(…)
