Janice’s Revenge
Charles entered Frank’s dorm and immediately averted his eyes. What the fuck did he think he was doing?
“Dude! Are you out of your mind? Shut that thing off, please!”
“Huh?” Frank muttered, vacantly. His eyes were glassy and there was drool coming out of his parched lips. One hand was inside his boxers while the other rested heavily on his lap. Charles moved his friend’s rotating chair out of the way and closed the laptop, momentarily breaking the sexual spell that had taken hold of Frank’s mind.
“Frank, what the hell is wrong with you?” Charles asked.
“Charlie?” Frank shook his head, his gaze still cloudy. “What…? What happened?”
“That’s what I’d like to know. I just caught you jerking off to gay porn? Why were you doing that?”
“I wasn’t… I… I would never do that. I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Monica: Hey Josh. Still up at this hour.
Josh: Oh! Hi Monica. Yeah, not really sleepy tonight. What’s up?
Monica: Not much, but I wanted to know how your trip to Croatia went.
Josh: It was great. I had never been to that part of Europe before and I loved it. My favorite part of the trip was when I visited Dubrovnik. It’s quite a magical place.
Monica: I hope you took lots of pictures.
Josh: I sure did. Do you want to see some of them right now?
Monica: If you have the time, so do I. Hit me, Josh.
Josh: Okay. Let’s see…

What She’s Looking For
Rachel was obsessed with bug nails; Theresa had pictures of her collection of strapons on her smartphone; Justine drank four shots of Vodka in the five minutes they were together, and Andy couldn’t stop wondering if this was what dating was truly all about nowadays.
The buzzer sounded and the mid-forties man sighed in his seat. Speed dating was becoming unbearable but he had promised his twin sister to keep trying. After all, if she had found her lifelong partner like that, why couldn’t he? It was all about positive thinking, keeping an open mind, and a bit of luck, the last of which had never favored him growing up.
Andy moved to another table, sat down, and was immediately awestruck by the exotic beauty looking at him. She was tall, had dark almond eyes, and a sultry smile. There was a mix of Asian and Nubian traits in her features that had him guessing about the diversity of her genetic heritage. Her attire was cozy yet elegant, with the long black dress being the highlight. The whole package was complete with a slight Australian accent which only added to the mystery of her character.
“Hello, I’m Isla,” she said, extending her right hand.
