Incarnation

Jack finished reading his latest draft and frowned. The potential was there but there were still a lot of things about his writing he didn’t like. Some passages were too convoluted, the main character’s motivations made no sense and the villain… oh, the villain had no charisma at all! She was like a black hole that sucked everything about her, making even the good stuff look bad and pointless. Why would anyone feel compelled to root for her demise? Hell, why would anyone even read past the first paragraphs after her introduction? It was downhill from there.

He had no choice but to revamp her again, but how? He had tried making her an evil doctor, a sinister lawyer, and even a disgraced multi-millionaire CEO but none of those characterizations stuck the landing. A friend had suggested going for a superhero angle, but he wasn’t fond of comics and sucked at writing about them too, so now what? What was he missing to change the course of his ill-fated draft forever?

“What if she were a hypnotist?” he thought. “A sexy and deadly mind-controller?” Yes, there were a lot of those in the media so the idea wasn’t new, but he had something other writers didn’t: a fetish that propelled his darkest thoughts and made him crave for deliverance of the tyranny of free will. If he used those ideas and adapted them to the story he was trying to tell, that could be the winning formula.

In the Dark

As Tammy lay on the cold, damp ground of the cavernous shaft, a sharp pain shot through her ankle with every movement. The fall had been nasty, and it was a miracle she hadn’t hit her head on the way down. The hole she had fallen through was nowhere to be seen above her – it was as if she had been swallowed whole by the earth itself. She sat up, wincing at the throbbing ache in her leg, and looked around in awe at the sight before her.

The walls of the cavern were lined with shimmering mineral deposits that sparkled like a treasure trove under a soft green light. Stalactites hung from the ceiling like crystal chandeliers, dripping with moisture that echoed in the silence of the underground chamber. As Tammy’s eyes adjusted to the dim glow, she noticed a narrow passageway leading deeper into the earth, its walls glistening with hints of unknown wonders waiting to be discovered.

Despite the pain she was in, curiosity stirred within Tammy as she realized that she had stumbled into a natural wonder like no other. Still, she needed to find a way out, so she ventured further into the depths of the cavern, following the green phosphorescence to wherever it led her.

Perfect Existence

The bedroom was bathed in a lustful glow and filled with the sweet aroma of sex in the making. Camille’s fingers traced patterns upon Wanda’s bare skin, feeling the goosebumps ripple in their wake.
Wanda’s breasts were full and heavy, the nipples dark and erect. They beckoned to Camille, inviting her to taste their sweet nectar. She obliged, taking one into her mouth and sucking gently.

She switched to the other breast, giving it the same tender attention. Wanda’s head was thrown back in ecstasy, her breathing ragged and uneven. This was even better than she hoped for.

Camille had no idea why she was worshiping her big sister’s best friend, but she couldn’t get enough. The Nubian woman was almost ten years older than her, and she had never thought of her as beautiful until that Friday night. Something had changed inside her mind to start seeing her like a living Goddess, but what?

“God, how I love this!” She muttered. Wanda’s body was pearled with sweat and it was intoxicating to all her senses.

Trust Me

“Relax, you’re not being hypnotized,” Alicia cooed as Simon watched the spirals dance on her laptop screen. They were always changing colors, going from a deep shade of red to soothing waves of blue. Sometimes, he thought he saw words flashing in and out around the center only for them to disappear as he was pulled in, further and further, into an alternate state of mind.

“Are you sure? Something’s … weird,” he gulped, hands to the side, legs beginning to quiver. Alicia was always playing tricks on him, so this had to be another one. It had to be!

“Would I lie to you?” she gently rubbed the back of his neck with two fingers. “Have I ever done that?”

A trick question, another one of her specialties. If he said yes, she would pretend to be offended, pout, and then make him feel bad for not trusting her. If he said no, she would say he had no reason to doubt her. Everything she said was true, so he could relax… and obey.
