Drawing Blood
Camilla stood at the entrance of the security vault, dressed in black from head to toe. Ordinary people would probably be terrified of what was going to happen next, their hearts pounding so loudly that the sound alone would be enough to trigger the alarms in the room, but she was unlike anyone else. She had trained for this moment for years and was more than ready for whatever challenges came her way.
The room was enveloped in a cold blue light emanating from the biometric scanners lining the walls but there was also an intricate web of lasers crisscrossing the chamber. Each beam hummed with latent power, a formidable barrier between her and her coveted prize.

Her movements were subtle and almost mesmerizing, drawing him in like a moth to a flame.
“What are you doing?” he asked, scratching his chin, a sly smile on his lips.
“What do you think I’m doing?” she teased him, splashing water into his face.
“If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re trying to hypnotize me in public.”
“Maybe I am. Would that be such a bad thing? You never complain when I do it in the bedroom.”
“Yeah, in the bedroom,” he repeated. “When it’s just the two of us, anything is possible, but out here in the open?”(…)
