Flash Fiction Friday 2024 – Week 9
Flash Fiction Friday continues in 2024. New pieces appear every Friday on my Patreon throughout the year. The minimum pledge to read them before anyone else is $3 per month. and the number of pieces available is tied to the monthly pledge total so the more you support my efforts, the more you’ll get to read. Find out what they’re all about and check out some excerpts from this week’s update in this post.
Body Count
Gregory was having the time of his life that Saturday night. Jennifer was smart, witty, and could hold her liquor more than any of his male friends. She was also drop dead gorgeous with her flowing red hair, dark blue eyes, big smile, and even bigger boobs. It was nothing short of a miracle that the sleeveless black dress she was wearing hadn’t fallen off yet. It seemed nothing could ruin that first date, but Greg had a way or turning the most perfect situations into genuine clusterfucks. Sometimes, it was with a disdainful look. In other occasions, it was was with an inappropriate remark. This time, Fate had his mouth come out with one of the worst questions ever.
“Can I ask you something?” Gregory sipped his beer, and looked her in the eyes, narrowly avoiding the dangerous cleavage that was after his attention.
“Of course. What is it?” She leaned forward as if to challenge his resilience.
“What’s your body count?”

Her Pet
I don’t know about you guys, but my owner is the best. She gives me all the best foods, I get treats every day and I can sleep in her bed whenever I want. Every morning, I greet her by licking her feet and she laughs every time. She’s ticklish, you know? Ah, she’s wonderful! At first, I didn’t think much of her, but I don’t mind being proven wrong. Let me tell you more about her.
She’s a hypnodomme. When I met her, I had no idea what that meant and every time I heard the word, I remember getting confused. If you’re anything like me, allow me to spare you the trouble. She’s a dominant lady that uses hypnosis to have fun with her subjects. Most of them are men but she plays with a couple of women, too. She does sessions over the phone, via webcam, and in person too. The latter are reserved for people she really likes, but there’s at least two or three every month and I’m always there in the corner, watching. Her clients enjoy having me around too, and often rub my belly before leaving. Who am I to say no to some good old belly rubs, huh?
My owner is very open when it comes to fetishes. She likes a little bit of everything and isn’t afraid to try something new if the situation calls for it.

That’s Not Her
“You’re crazy, Hannah!” Valerie said.
“No, I’m not!” That was the worst thing anyone could say to her, especially a friend. “I know what I saw.”
“You were obviously having a bad dream or something. What you described is absolutely impossible.”
“I’ll prove it then.”
The point of contention between the two middle-aged women was Hannah’s claim that she had seen a UFO land on her sister’s property and replace her with an alien clone. It wasn’t the first time she told stories about unsuspecting extraterrestrial visitors flying around the farm and wreaking havoc but she had never gone as far as talking about human facsimiles and whatnot. Valerie was starting to fear for her friend’s sanity.
“Prove it how?”
“Follow me.”

Worth It
“Megan!” Jack screamed from the top of his lungs.
“What’s wrong?” his girlfriend asked.
“What’s this?” he pointed at the large rectangular box that had been left on their doorstep.
“Oh, it’s finally here!” the blue-eye brunette clapped gleefully.
“What is? What did you buy this time?” Jack crossed his arms.
“Something you’re really going to love.”
“That’s what you always say and it’s never true. Did you use my credit card again?”
“No.”
“Megan, did you forget I can always tell when you’re lying?” Jack rolled his eyes. “Just be honest for once.”
“Fine! Yes, I did, but it was on sale, and like I said, you’re going to love it. Can you please bring the box inside? Thank you.”
“What’s in it?”
“We’ll open it together so you can for yourself, okay? Bring it to the living room.”
