Helen smirked as she held Todd’s heart in her hands. Literally.
“How?” The young jock squinted, unsure if the gruesome spectacle before his eyes was really happening or not. “How are you doing this?”
“You still haven’t figured it out? She cocked her head to the side, mocking him.
“Witch!” He spat. “My mother was right all along! You’re a witch!”
“So I am, and every witch needs a pet. Don’t worry, sweetie, Soon. your heart will only beat for me.” She pushed the pulsating organ against his chest again, an unnatural light enveloping his soul.
“I love you…” He chirped, with a sheepish smile on his lips. “I know. Get to work, pet.”
Todd dropped to his knees to happily lick her leather boots.
