Ronnie, the vampire, looked at the other cages around him and shuddered. There was a werewolf, a Seelie, an incubus, and a dozen other supernatural creatures sharing the same fate as him. He reached for the one closest to him and asked,
“Hey. Do you know why we’re here?”
The other prisoner, a merman whose skin was starting to flake, looked at him with bloodshot eyes, and replied,
“Yes. This bitch wants us as pets and there’s nothing we can do to stop her.”
“Are you kidding me? Every single one of us is strong enough to deal with a puny human.”
“This one’s different, trust me.”
“What’s so special about her, then?”
“She’s a hypnodomme.”
“Fuck!”
