How I’ve Been Doing
Hello. This post is just to let you know what my state of mind has been in recent times.
I’ll be clear from the start. This month has been rough so far. Discovering that my hard work had been stolen and used by a malicious actor to try to make money off of it, money that should be legally mine as the creator of the content, was not a pleasant experience at all, to the point where it made me consider quitting doing this or start putting every single creation of mine behind a paywall, even if it was only a symbolic value of $1 per month.
Am I doing any of those things? No. However, I’m in the middle of protecting my work in different ways going forward, including how some books are presented. You’ll see what I mean soon as some things are still in flux. I’ve been oscillating between moments of sadness and pure rage at this whole ordeal, but I’ve trying to keep it together by sticking to the schedule. So far so good and I hope that continues. Should I ever falter one day, I will make it up to you some other time.
