I Stand With Ukraine
Apart from a few occasional remarks on my stories (usually the 55 word ones), I tend to stay clear from making political statements both here and pretty much everywhere else online given how heated those discussions have a tendency to be, but what’s happening right now is too severe to stay quiet, so here’s a brief statement from me regarding the situation in Ukraine.
What’s taking place in this so-called civilized world at the moment is, to put it bluntly, an atrocity of the highest degree perpetrated by a madman that must surely dream of being a dictator like Hitler, Mussolini or Stalin, just to name a few. It is unthinkable to be witnessing something like this under the most vile and false pretenses imaginable, and it pains my heart to watch the news and see the bombs coming down.
I know people from Ukraine. I’ve worked with people from Ukraine, and they don’t deserve the terror they’re going through. No people does. If there really is a Hell, I hope Putin has a place reserved for him for this insanity happening in Eastern Europe. How can anyone defend his actions, I don’t know.
So, yeah, I stand with Ukraine, and you should too.
