“Are you afraid of me?” Phoebe asked.
“No!” Eric replied.
“Liar. I can hear your heart beating across the room.”
“Hmm… It’s just that when we started dating, I didn’t know you were a va… vam…”
“Vampire. Don’t worry, I won’t bite.”
“You won’t?”
“Not all the time.”
Eyes glowing green, she demanded his servitude.
How this story came to be
Vampires are supposed to be deadly and brutal predators, but literature and movies have been romanticizing them for a while now. I can do that too, so I wrote this one. Wouldn’t you love to be seduced by a creature of the night and turned into her puppet? Yeah, me neither.
