“I’m taking a few days to myself this month and…”
“You’re letting me run things again? Thank you.”
“I was going to say Colonel Gibbons will take my place.”
“The same Colonel Gibbons who’s frozen in my backyard as we speak?”
“Fine, you can be in charge!”
“I already am,” she chuckled.
How this story came to be
If you’ve been following this challenge for a while, you may recall that a few years ago, I wrote a series of Alexandra piece in which she was running the show while the General was on vacation. I had some ideas on how to explore that scenario even further, so you’ll be seeing them come together in the following weeks. This is how it starts. No one can compete with Alexandra, so don’t even try.
