Porch Light
Quentin turned on the porch light and jumped when he saw his sister waiting.
“Jesus, you scared the crap out of me!” he exclaimed.
“Why?”
“I thought you were that hypnotic bitch that’s been stalking me since Memphis.”
“No,” she grinned. “Mistress isn’t here tonight.”
“Fuck!”
The light went out and so did his mind.
I don’t really have a porch around here but I do have a backyard and the light outside likes to flicker more than it should, especially during the Winter. Sometimes, this produces some interesting shadows at the most inopportune of times.
Tonight, after dinner, I did experience a sudden jump scare when a neighbor from me walked by and the light above threw a fit, projecting a weird mess of dark shadowy tentacles on the tiles at my feet. It was quite bizarre and probably good material for a horror tale but I went with something different and this was it. If you can’t trust your family, who will you trust?
The Mind Controls All
The stats didn’t lie. Henry was faster than ever.
“How?” Maxine asked.
“Hypnosis,” Laura replied. “The mind controls all, and it works for other things, too.”
“Like what?”
Laura pointed at his hardened cock. “I can make him stay like that for as long as I want.”
Maxine signed up for lessons the next morning.
Just felt like writing something light-hearted and this was the first scenario that came to mind. Can you really blame Laura for using hypnosis like that? I don’t think so.
You’ll Get Confused Again
Patricia gulped another pill and grumbled.
“Why am I still taking these? My memory is great now.”
“Because if you stop, you’ll get confused again,” Allison replied.
“Are you sure?”
“Of course. Who’s the doctor here?”
“You are.”
“Good. Same time tomorrow, dear.”
Patricia nodded, the mirror next to her reflecting a bearded man’s face.
We finish the first month of year 7 of this daily challenge with a little impromptu about pills. It came to me as I was giving my older dog her heart medicine in the morning, but I’m only posting it now because I had plenty of other things to take care of today. Beware of this type of medicine unless you want to wake up thinking you’re a woman one of these days.
