The Battle
“I’m not submissive.”
“Don’t make me laugh.”
“She didn’t brainwash me.”
“Yes, she did. She controls you as she pleases. You have no free will.”
“Liar! Get out of my head!”
“I’m not inside your head. I am your voice.”
Cameron glanced at the mirror, saw his lips move.
The battle would soon be over.
I’m enjoying my last moments of respite before going back to work tomorrow. Luckily, it will only be three days before I’m off again for now my regular schedule kicks in. Whilst relaxing, I had plenty of ideas for today’s piece and this is the one that resonated the most because…
… well, as I mentioned in the past, the idea of resistance is something that fascinates me and when that resistance is futile to begin with… yeah. it’s hot. It appeals to the darker side of me, I guess, and I go quite dark when I want to.
I hope you had fun. Until tomorrow.
Lazy Punishment
“Dany, why is your husband hugging a tree?” Chloe asked.
“That’s his punishment for being lazy.”
“Huh?”
“He didn’t do his chores so I said: ‘Since you love sloth so much, you might as well become one!’ What do you think, sis?”
“I think I shouldn’t have given you that spell book on your birthday.”
As you know, I have sub-themes going on in this challenge. There are the Alexandra Ryder pieces, the time-travelling hypnotist ones, pieces inspired by music, TV shows, movies, videogames, etc. Well, today, I had an idea for a series of pieces inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins. This is the first one.
No, I don’t want to be a sloth. If I were to be an animal other than a human being. I would prefer to be a dog. Don’t be lazy around Dany or else…
Yelling
“WHY ARE YOU YELLING, PAUL?”
“You’re the one yelling, Bill.”
“HUH?”
“I said you’re the one yelling.”
“WHY AM I DOING THAT?”
“Are you angry?”
“YES… HMMM… NO… FUCK, I REMEMBER NOW!”
“Remember what?”
“TRUDY HYPNOTIZED ME TO TALK OUT LOUD WHENEVER I’M AROUSED.”
“Okay, but why are you aroused talking to me?”
Bill blushed.
Bait and switch, huh? All the yelling made you think about anger, I bet. Don’t worry, that one will come sooner than later. This piece was partly inspired by an argument outside my work place but the two parties involved were women, not men. Now you’re curious but that’s all I’m saying because I know how much you love to be teased…
Pride Cometh…
“I can’t be hypnotized, Alana. I’m too smart for that!” Clark said.
“Right… you know what they say about pride, don’t you?”
“It’s not pride if it’s the truth,” he shrugged.
“We’ll see about that.”
The next day, he was spotted walking down the street, naked, with the words “Alana’s bitch” written on his chest.
When I said a few days ago I thought about doing a series of pieces inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins, I jotted a few notes about each one of them for future reference. Today, I picked them up and started toying with them. This was the first piece that came to mind.
It’s easy to say “I can’t be hypnotized” and stuff like that but pretty much everyone can and if one goes deep enough, thoughts and behaviors will change, that much is certain. Of course, it won’t happen overnight but this why these little tales are fantasy, and nothing more. In the real world, this type of humiliation is too extreme for me.
