Just a Spiral
“It’s just a spiral,” Matthew thought as he looked into the swirling vortex before his eyes. For some reason he had yet to understand, Theresa really loved them and spent hours if not entire days designing them to perfection. A cool luminous spectacle, but nothing else.
“It’s just a spiral,” he repeated to himself, eyes still fixed on the moving pattern. How many colors did it have for real? Four? Five? More? It was hard to tell. The transitions between the frames were subtle, often giving impressions of additional nuances that weren’t really there. Sometimes, if he stopped himself from blinking, he could almost see words in the background.
“It’s just a spiral,” he grumbled, suddenly reminiscing of the unfortunate story behind their first conversation. They say “boys will be boys”, but that’s a lame excuse for appalling behaviors and no end really justifies the means. Seducing the nerdiest girl in college and then immediately dumping her was a cruel prank, yet he agreed to it, convinced that his actions would have no repercussions. It wasn’t the first time he believed something stupid and probably wouldn’t be the last either.
“It’s just a spiral.” He clenched his fists and tried to look away, yet the chromatic perfection spoke louder. Its cadence was too lovely to be ignored. He needed to keep staring, and he would. That’s what Theresa wanted, anyway.
Unlike what happens in romantic comedies and sitcoms alike, he hadn’t fallen in love with her. They were too different, yet he had felt a connection, somehow. The first time was when she smiled after he helped her pick up her textbooks in the main hall. The second was when she smiled for the first time. And the third was when she told him about her spiraling hobby and how good it would be if he saw some of her creations. He remembered nodding, thoughts focused on the prize money and nothing else, and then…
“It’s just a spiral.” He drooled. Was it the first one, or had he seen others before? And how long had he been standing in front of her laptop? The questions kept popping up only to disappear right after, just like his thoughts and… his clothes? When did that happen?
Something cold and rubbery brushed his ass cheeks as the spiral continued to sap his resistance. Prodding latex gloves followed, and a once innocent voice revealed its true nature.
“Having fun with my spiral?” Theresa purred. “I hope so because that’s all you’ll be seeing from now on. And yes, before you even try to say anything, I know all about you and your friend’s stupid bet. Did you honestly think I was dumb enough to let you play with my heart? Well, if you did, not anymore. In fact, I’ll be taking care of all your thoughts from now on.”
The strap-on pushed inside his ass. Matthew flinched and surrendered to the overwhelming rush of pleasure only she could deliver, explosions of color firmly etched inside his drooling brain. It was just a spiral, but it was enough to control him completely. His silly friends were next.
