Crisis
“Who am I? Where am I going? What am I doing here? Who am I? Where am I going? What am I doing here?” Jeffrey mumbled, incessantly.
“Is your husband having a midlife crisis?” Veronica asked, somewhat surprised.
“Something like that…” Mary giggled.
The effects of the hypnotic confusion shouldn’t take long to wear off.
When you reach a certain point in life some things seem inevitable, but are they really? I guess that depends on whether there’s mind control involved or not.
Raider of the Lost Mind
The adventurer laid down his glass and grabbed the crystal skull.
“It was a pleasure,” he said, his crusade finally over.
“I’m sure…” the Triad leader declared. “Now, hand it it back and kneel.”
“Hmmm… why?” He smirked.
“Because of the hypnotic you just drank, Dr. Jones…”
Soon, his free will would become a relic.
Another piece inspired by the world of movies, namely the Indiana Jones saga. My greatest achievement in this one is having been able to reference all four adventures in such few words. I want to see this movie.
The Call
“Welcome to the Femdom Hypnosis Hotline. If you want to be brainwashed into submission, press 1. If you want to remain in control, press 2 to see your mind change in no time. If you’re already entranced by this recording, press 3 and wait for one of our thralls to collect you in the flesh.”
This service was recommended to me (okay, not really). Will you make the call?
Release Me
“Release me, you filthy witch!” Captain Intrepid demanded.
“That’s no way to talk to a Lady…” Veyla, the Conjurer, retorted with a grin. “And besides, you look so lovely inside that pod.”
“I said… RELEASE ME!” he shouted.
“Fine, I will!” she said, flipping a switch.
He was immediately released from the burden of thought.
Another one wants to be released but be careful what you wish for. A very simple piece and a rare incursion of mine in the world of superheroes and stuff.
