All Over Again
“… wake up,” Clarissa said, caressing her boyfriend’s shoulders. “How was it?”
“Amazing,” Greg replied. “But sometimes, I wished…”
“Yes?”
“It could be the first time all over again, you know? Too bad it’s impossible.”
“Says who?” She snapped her fingers.
(…)
Greg approached the beautiful brunette at the bar:
“Hi. Can I buy you a drink?”
In the mood for something lighter with a romantic flavor today and the first thing that came to mind had a heavy dose of nostalgia. Nostalgia can definitely be a good thing but it’s not as good as the original. Good old memories never return to us fully but a bit of hypnosis can heighten those feelings and make it seem that way for a while at least. That’s what I was going for with this one.
Being Nice
The results were absolutely devastating: Helena 15, Angela 0.
“Cheater!” Angela cried out.
“No, I’m not!” Helena retorted.
“What do you call triggering me in the middle of each match then?”
“Being nice, unless you prefer the alternative…”
“Which is…?”
“No cumming until the end of the year.”
Angela squinted and immediately replied:
“Trigger away!”
I mentioned a few times already that I’ve never been good at fighting video games. The last one I played from start to finish was this iteration of Mortal Kombat on a Vita, go figure! Just like pretty much everyone else, I recently got to see the trailer for the new movie coming out this year and today, this popped in my mind. I suppose any other fighting game series could have spawned it but it happened to be this one, so… would you like to play a losing game like this?
Do-Over
Cameron stared into the darkness of his girlfriend’s basement. Twelve lifeless copies of himself stared back at him. It was true! It was all true!
“Why?” He sobbed.
“I’m so sorry you had to see this again…” Amanda declared. “The next version won’t have these memories, promise.”
Clone number 5’s brains exploded at her feet.
I love creepy stories but I’m not always in the mood for them. A recent Patreon poll ended with my patrons voting for more “feel-good” pieces but I did say going down that route wouldn’t exclude some dark stuff from continuing to appear and what better way to prove just that than add a new one to this daily challenge?
Are you sure you’re you?
Forever Day
Darren opened his eyes. It was International Women’s Day. He left the house, bought Jessica flowers, returned home, and went back to sleep.

Darren opened his eyes. It was International Women’s Day…
I always do an International Women’s Day on March 8th and even though there’s already one as part of today’s Micro-Fiction Monday, I wrote this one as well. The question is: is this really a time loop or is Darren just being entranced over and over again by Jessica? Given the overall subject matter of this challenge, I guess the answer isn’t that hard, right?
Have a wonderful International Women’s Day.
