Not Again!
Richard sighed. He had finally removed all traces of Jenna from his house. Or so he thought.
Tucked away in a corner of the bedroom was a small crystal, the same one she used to hypnotize him with. He looked at it and his mind froze.
“Not again!” he kneeled. Freedom was still an illusion.
How this story came to be
Memories are a funny thing. Sometimes, we find ourselves remembering things that never happened and forgetting the most basic scenarios. It’s easy to get confused when trying to recall certain events, etc. The list of strange phenomena associated with memory could go on forever but that’s not the point I wanted to make. This piece was about the power of memories and how triggers linger when associated with certain objects and ideas. Have you ever experienced something like that? I know I did.
