The Message
“Attention all vessels. Stay clear, repeat, stay clear. We were just boarded by an unknown force. It assumed the guise of a woman and is slowly enslaving the crew. It’s not safe, repeat, it’s not safe. Oh, my God! She’s here! Her eyes… her ey…
Attention all vessels. Come join us in mindless deliverance. Rejoice!”
This would be a very simple thing if it hadn’t been inspired by Morse Code.
Rumors
“Have you heard?”
“What?”
“Jack hypnotized Ruby. Made her his slave!”
“That can’t be right!”
“I’m telling you.”
“Let’s ask him then.”
“Okay.”
(…)
“Jack, is it true?”
“What?”
“That you enslaved Ruby.”
“I heard you two did it!”
“Huh?”
“Guys, is that her by the door, holding a pendant?”
“It sure looks like…”
“Oh shit!”
Don’t believe everything you hear… this one was conceived to be silly through and through. All the other details pertaining to it can be easily inferred, I think.
Blink
The sign above the auditorium read:
“Femdom Hypnosis 101. You will be entranced the moment you come inside.”
“That sounds pretentious,” Noel commented.
“Wait until you meet Miss Quinn,” his friend Lawrence replied.
“Good morning, class…” a velvety voice echoed in the room.
Noel blinked.
“… see you next Tuesday for another lesson.”
Noel blinked again.
Interestingly enough, believing what you read may turn out to be useful, but it won’t stop control from taking place. More silliness, but silliness is fun.
CYOA?
The witch smiles. Want to kill her? Read paragraph two. Want to submit to her? Read paragraph four.
Do you have the blessed blade? If so, read paragraph three. If not, read paragraph four.
The blessing is a curse. All blade wielders must obey the witch. Read paragraph four.
Took you long enough. Now, kneel!
Is it possible to write a Choose Your Own Adventure kind of story using only 55 words? It must be because I wrote one, even if the end result shouldn’t be taken seriously in any way.
