Scrambled

Scrambled

“Excuse me?” Alan said.
“What?” Diana smiled.
“How did you manage to spell OXYPHENBUTAZONE when you only had two tiles left to play?”
“Because I’m good?”
“No, because you cheated your way out with hypnosis… again.”
“And that’s bad because…?”
“Hmmm…”
“Look at the board again.”
He read the word ENSLAVED and never complained again.

It’s not the first time I’ve written pieces with games in mind. It’s also not the first time Alan and Diana play them. They first appeared in Rock, Paper, Trance and then in Wrestling. After that, they played Pictionary in Don’t Picture This and Trivial Pursuit in Trivial. When I thought of something revolving scrabble, naturally I thought of them and, of course, Diana continues to win because you wouldn’t want it any other way, right?

By the way, OXYPHENBUTAZONE is supposedly the highest scoring word possible in a game of Scrabble but it’s also pretty much impossible to spell it without cheating in some way. Why not the hypnotic one? Until tomorrow.

Mistress Muse

Muse Talk – Early Christmas Present

“Oh wow!”
“What is it?”
“Your writer just completed thirty-five consecutive months of femdom hypnosis and mind control micro-fiction.”
“Yep.”
“He’s completely brainwashed by now, isn’t he?”
“He was brainwashed after the first month, dear.”
“I feel like doing dirty things to him right now.”
“Go for it.”
“Early Christmas present?”
“And you’ll be mine.”

It’s the last day of November and it just dawned on me that I’m 31 days away of completing Year 3 of this daily writing challenge. That’s right, Year 3! I started writing these on a regular basis on January 1st, 2016 even before Spell… B-O-U-N-D was a thing and now it’s November 2018 and I’m still going. Let’s do the math, shall we?

366 days on 2016 because it was a leap year, 365 in 2017, and 334 in 2018 thus far. That’s 1065 pieces of femdom hypnosis and micro-fiction. When Year 3 ends, that number will rise to 1096. That’s a lot!

Luckily, they’re still fun so perhaps there will be a Year 4 to raise the stakes even further. That would be nice. It would be even nice further if anyone that visits and/or supports this site would offer me suggestions to keep going because I love working off other people’s concepts as well.

Now, about this one. It’s self-referential humor and it returns to the idea of Muses with which I started this journey. Yes, writing so many of these is a form of self-brainwashing but, like I said, it’s fun and as long as it’s fun, the stories will keep on coming. The hint that one Muse may be playing with the other’s mind soon is new but it’s also for the fun of it. Are you having fun? I hope so.

Join me in the last days of the year and we’ll see what 2019 brings.
