In 55 Words FD MC Challenge 2017 – Day 110

Something happened yesterday that kept me from updating the site so I guess I’m making two entries, today. This piece is about conquering one’s demons with a little bit of mind-control and something very special.

“I won’t be controlled by fear, anger or guilt,” Simon said, looking at the mirror. “Begone, insecurities! Begone, poor judgments! Begone, self-loathing!”
“Well done,” Trish snapped her fingers, awakening him from trance. “Don’t let me ever catch you feeling unworthy again!”
“Yes, dear,” he smiled, kneeling.
The only thing that controlled him was her love.

My inspiration comes from a lot of sources. Most of the times, I do the work of unraveling it on my own but, on occasions, I specifically ask others to chime in, to offer me suggestions of things they would like me to work with. I like being challenged that way as it allows me to open up to other perspectives I would probably not do so otherwise.  Today’s piece was born of such a suggestion, one that was phrased like this:

Turn a submissive woman into a Domme? Make a change from having the Domme already there?

Although I know I tackled similar concepts in some writings a while back, there’s nothing wrong with trying to explore new avenues with them. The fact that an infomercial for one of those rejuvenating tonics was airing at the moment I began writing it, influenced the overall outcome. Thanks for the suggestion, Steph!

Liquid Dominance

“Are you sure it will work?” Steph asked, in fear.
“Absolutely,” Dana replied. “My tonic will unleash your innermost desires.”
Steph took a sip and felt the liquid dominance overwhelm her submissive nature.
“Yummy!” She exclaimed.
“I know. Now what?”
“Bend over, slave…”
“Yes?” Dana’s eyes glimmered.
“… and make me a supply for a lifetime!”

Always open to suggestions. If anyone that reads these wishes to offer a theme that fits the spirit of the challenge, do reach out and I’ll see what can be done. Take care and have fun.

The work of F. Scott Fitzgerald inspired this one. Charles’ lines are quotes of his from the book This Side of Paradise, with just a few minor tweaks to fit the word limit. The punchline was mostly added for humorous sake. Enjoy and until tomorrow.

Losing it Again

“I’m a slave to my emotions, to my likes, to my hatred of boredom…” Charles sighed.
“Longing for the innocence of old?” Alice smirked.
“No,” he continued. “I don’t want to repeat my innocence. I want the pleasure of losing it again.”
“That’s why we have hypnosis…”
She began by making him lose his clothes.

Thank You

It’s been two months since this site went live so I just wanted to thank everyone that visited it in the meantime. If you got any enjoyment out of the strange things contained in it, I’m pleased. Have a good day.

Pearl S. Buck once wrote:

“The truly creative mind in any field is no more than this: A human creature born abnormally, inhumanely sensitive. To them… a touch is a blow, a sound is a noise, a misfortune is a tragedy, a joy is an ecstasy, a friend is a lover, a lover is a god, and failure is death.

Add to this cruelly delicate organism the overpowering necessity to create, create, create — so that without the creating of music or poetry or books or buildings or something of meaning, their very breath is cut off…

They must create, must pour out creation. By some strange, unknown, inward urgency they are not really alive unless they are creating.”

Most of it applies to me. I have felt the urge of creation since an early age, and I know that satisfying it keeps me whole. It’s not so much the completed products, but the very act of doing something new. Creativity itself is an addiction, but there are certainly worse things to be addicted to. It is through writing I deliver myself every single day. It is through writing that I find new meanings for the multitude of random thoughts that cross my spirit every single day.

Deep down inside, I also know I’m a hopeless romantic. That’s the only thing that explains why I wrote what I did, today. I hope you like it.

“Slow down a bit,” Annabeth whispered.
“I can’t right now,” Luke responded, filling the canvas with violent strokes of ink.
“If you do, I can create something beautiful,” she continued.
“Like what?”
“Sleep for me now.”
He closed his eyes and her voice unearthed a new brush, painting every corner of his mind with love.

I don’t have much to say today except this. Happy Easter should you celebrate the date. If you don’t, I hope you have a wonderful day nonetheless whether you’re surrounded by loved ones, doing the things you enjoy the most, or simply enjoying a quiet moment of reflection. Have fun.

Happy Easter

“What’s taking you so long?” Maria teased. “They’re not that hidden.”
She was right. The eggs were in plain sight and duly painted with swirly decorative patterns of her own design. Mark wanted to pick them up, but staring at them was so much better.
It was going to be a very happy, entrancing Easter.

I found myself reflecting on the meaning of various things, today. One of those was the dividing line between fantasies and reality. Another was just how deep is too deep when it comes to hypnosis. Since the practice involves altered states of mind, there’s a chance things can easily get out of hand and that, of course, must be avoided at all costs. When writing pure fiction, consequences can be easily dismissed because it’s fiction after all. However, in real scenarios, in real relationships, one’s self must never reach a point where the call of the abyss is louder than the call of fun. A bit of food for though. Enjoy the short story and have a good weekend.

Come Back to Me

“3, 2, 1… wake up! Are you okay? It seemed like you went too deep,” Ashley noted.
“I did,” James agreed. “I forgot to breathe, forgot myself.”
“Don’t,” she cuddled him. “Losing oneself for real isn’t fun… You must always come back to me.”
“Yes, Mistress,” he smiled. That would always be his favorite command.
