Saturday Story 2023 – Week 6 (Eliza’s Birthday)
A new story is now available on my Patreon. Something different today, meant to be a one-off. It was constructed out of two ideas I had for flash fiction pieces that I ended up merging into a single concept. Synopsis below:
Eliza wakes up on the day after her birthday to find her house in disarray. What happened at the surprise party the night before?

Her head was throbbing. It felt like someone had cracked it open like an uncooked egg, removed the yolk, and then tried to glue it all back together. She rubbed her forehead with her right hand and stumbled into the bathroom where she found a handwritten note glued on the bathroom mirror. It read,
“Hey, girlfriend,
by now you’ve seen the ruckus – sorry about that! – but it was quite the party, wasn’t it?
