Alex didn’t want to go to the mall, but his feet were moving on their own.
“Come, slave,” Felicia commanded. “I need my shopping spree of the day.”
“I’m not your slave,” he grumbled, wallet in hand.
“With the way you respond to my suggestions, damn right you are!
Defeated, he trailed right behind her.
How this story came to be
Have you gone shopping in 2025? Not me. I don’t do that often except for groceries and other essentials though I keep getting bombarded with emails and messages telling me to buy this, buy that – mostly books. Anyway, I got a few of those today and decided to write something involving shopping. This led to financial domination and this piece was born. You wouldn’t be able to resist either, right?
