… stared at Olivia’s swinging pocket watch. A collar and leash called his name.
“Let’s go for a walk, pet,” she declared.
Happily, he complied. He loved Spring.
How this story came to be
Spring Is here. I’ve been looking forward to it because this Winter wasn’t particularly kind to me. Between the chilblains, several health problems, and unexpected expenses, I don’t have that many good memories of the last couple of months.
I wish I could say today was a good day but the weather has been fucking atrocious all over the country, thanks to Depression Martinho, and I also woke up to a busted microwave which added a little more stress to everything. It’s been raining non-stop for several hours now, and the wind is howling like a hungry pack of wolves. Please, make it stop!
I hope tomorrow will be better. The version of Spring I wrote in this little tale wouldn’t be that bad. If you want to make me happy, go buy some of my books today. Expect to see a few more go on sale before the end of the month.
