“Eww! What the hell is wrong with you?” Ellen asked as she saw green pus ooze from her brother’s ear.
“The parasite is acting up again,” he replied.
“What parasite?”
“The one Barbara put in me to turn me into her obedient slave.”
“You’re joking, right?”
“Yeah, it’s just a stupid infection.”

How this story came to be
Have you ever had to deal with an ear infection? They’re not pleasant, right? It’s happening to me as I type this. Symptoms have been here for a couple of days but I only had the confirmation today. Left ear is slightly swollen and leaking. It’s not too bad but somewhat annoying nonetheless. I wrote this one inspired by it. Let’s hope it clears out soon.
