Margaret looked sternly at David.
“Why are you slacking off? You’ve got work to do!” she said.
“I can’t… Too tired…” he grumbled, head buried under the sofa’s pillows.
“You’re never too tired for me… slave!” she snapped her fingers and grinned.
Her trigger ringing in his mind, he stood to attention, ready to serve.
How this story came to be
Yes, I’m tired. Had a very long day today and my energy levels didn’t help at all. I need a good night’s sleep to recover my physical strength and mental acuity. An energy trigger would be a nice thing to have but I’ll settle for a well-deserved rest. You should do the same.
