Wet Feet
Day 324 of Spell… B-O-U-N-D’s Femdom Hypnosis and Mind Control 55 Words Stories Challenge 2023, Wet Feet is a humorous Alexandra Ryder piece about water and perception.
Wet Feet
“Alexandra?”
“Yes, General?”
“Why are your quarters flooded?”
“My washing machine broke.”
“You don’t have a washing machine in the base.”
“Well, now I don’t!”
“Seriously, what’s going on here?”
“Your feet are wet.”
“I can feel that, thank you very much!”
“Can you really?”
“Yes, I… Damn it! I’m hypnotized again, aren’t I?”
“Always.”
How this story came to be
I went grocery shopping this morning and when I got home I wanted to do some laundry. Unfortunately, I couldn’t because my washing machine stopped working. When I press the button to turn it on, nothing happens. I checked the wiring, the water pump, the door, and all that jazz and couldn’t find a way to get it to function again. I don’t know what the problem is, only that the solution is either to call a technician to repair it if possible or buy a new one, and I can’t say I like either scenario if I’m being honest. This is a relatively new appliance (it was bought in 2020) but the warranty is expired, so…
I ended up going to a dry cleaner for now because I have one about three hundred meters from my place and I’ll try to fix this inconvenience in the next couple of days. In the meantime, I used the ordeal as inspiration for this humorous piece. Was the washing machine mentioned by Alexandra real or not? It’s up to you.
I hope you had fun. Until tomorrow.
