What Game…?
Matthew stared at the chessboard. Traps everywhere. No move could save him now.
“I can’t believe this!” he grumbled. “You don’t even know how to play chess!”
“You’re right, but I’m an excellent hypnotist,” Ellie smirked. “What game are we playing again?”
She snapped her fingers. Only a deck of cards remained on the table.
How this story came to be
Break is almost over and so is another year of creativity. This was a random impromptu that came to me after dinner as I was trying to solve some chess puzzles online. I do love chess but don’t really play it that much any more. I can always write about it though… or not.
